The Cheese Shed

A gem! Dairy making their own cheese + a deli shop + a cheese shop (with a great selection of British cheeses) + a food counter selling cheese toasties and hot drinks. What’s not to like? Maybe the toilets (portaloos) but the staff is very friendly and there’s plenty of parking. Plus there are nice walks nearby in the Chilterns and the place is dog friendly.

Glad to see that his place is thriving and surviving A positive outcome from the “COVID” days. Lots of outside seating and also inside under cover. Serving area inside under cover. Friendly staff. Coffee very good. Brilliant cheese toasties. Order and wait, goodies bought to the table. Games for kids. Good portaloos with hand sanitizer and in clean condition edition Great location for walking from or to in Nettlebed. Great for cyclists s too. Recommended ????????????????????????

Amazing spot to stop for a coffee & a cheese toastie. All milk / cheese made onsite. No non milk alternatives for hot drinks but soft drinks available in a really nice variety of flavours. All served in a real rustic style barn. Couldn’t help but stop in the little shop to buy a little supper offering .. fresh sour bread, cheese and fig jelly. Plenty of parking and just a lovely place to call in. Staff really lovely! Highly recommended..

They use their own cheese from the creamery, you don't need to book even for groups, the service is pretty quick with table service (order at the counter you have a number on your receipt for when the food comes out). Some seating inside, most outside. Quaintley decorated. The pastries are wonderful, they usually have a soup of the day. The toasties are good, but it would be much better if they had the option for extras as they literally just have cheese toasties, no option for ham, onions, tomatoes or different cheeses etc in them. They upgraded their car park last year so plenty of free parking and disabled bays too if you need them. The staff seem pleasant and they also have a farm shop where you can buy milk, cheeses and other things they produce.

We enjoyed the outdoors seating, part of seatings are inside the semi opened shed which are very relaxed. The cheese toasties is the signature, that means no other food menu. They taste very delicious. If you expect more choices on the mean, it is not the place. The smoothies are excellent with their home made yogurt.

Visited today for the first time and really enjoyed the cheese toastie! The coffee was also great. The folks at the food counter were warm & friendly.

Lovely setting. love the lights, gorgeous. Blankets are a lovely touch. Coffee lovely, but I lt thing I would say or ask is, be great if there was some different cheeses to choose from for the toasties, for those who would love a less strong tasty cheese, if your facilities would allow it. Otherwise I would come back but just for coffee and cookie/pastry.
